Admissions

Brooklyn Friends School has been providing a challenging academic program to its students since 1867. Guided by the Quaker principles of truth, simplicity, and peaceful resolution of conflict, our educational environment values academic achievement and social growth.

Brooklyn Friends School enrolls qualified students who will successfully contribute to our educational community. New students are admitted on the basis of previous academic records, personal interviews, testing, and teacher evaluations. Families should apply in early fall for admittance the following September. Later applications will only be considered if vacancies exist.
