Brooklyn Friends School has been providing a challenging academic program to its students since 1867. Guided by the Quaker principles of equality, integrity, peaceful resolution of conflict, community, and simplicity, our educational environment values academic achievement and social growth.
Brooklyn Friends School enrolls qualified students who will successfully contribute to our educational community. New students are admitted on the basis of previous academic records, personal interviews, assessments, and teacher evaluations. Families should apply in early fall for admittance the following September. Later applications will only be considered if vacancies exist.
Brooklyn Friends School enrolls students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
