BFS Opens Doors For ‘Family Visit Day’
It was the ‘day before the day’ at Brooklyn Friends School on Tuesday, as Lower, Middle, and Upper School students and families streamed into both school buildings to meet their teachers and renew acquaintances on “Family Visit Day.” The back-to-school energy was palpable one day before the students actually head back to school for the first day on Wednesday.
In addition to having the chance to explore the buildings and laugh with friends, Middle School students were able to attend an orientation so that by Wednesday, they will feel like they are returning middle schoolers. Some Lower School students, meanwhile, walked into the lobby wide-eyed, realizing that their photo was on one of the giant posters adorning the walls. Others simply wanted to get their hands on the latest BFS merch, which was being sold in the Pearl lobby! (Just sayin’, we have some really cool new t-shirts and sweatshirts!)
In case you missed it, please be sure to check out our Back-to-School Bulletin, which contains everything you need to know about everything BFS heading into the new school year. Also, please feel free to check out all of our latest COVID guidelines here.
