At a moment in which uncertainty in the world seems pervasive, we find that Brooklyn Friends School is increasingly a beacon in the daily lives of our children and of our family as a whole. Our children are learning to think critically, discern truth and form educated opinions. At BFS, our children can and will respectfully discuss, disagree and debate – in other words, learn to speak with and not at each other. We watch as they increasingly rely on reason and logic as sources of confidence that will permit them to take action in an uncertain world and have seen them grow to understand that asking the right questions is sometimes more important than knowing the answers.
Rise to the challenge!
Dear Friends,
At a moment in which uncertainty in the world seems pervasive, we find that Brooklyn Friends School is increasingly a beacon in the daily lives of our children and of our family as a whole.
We are not alone in our deep commitment to the purpose and values of BFS. Our fellow parents, in a show of extraordinary support for the school’s mission, have come together to offer a series of Brooklyn Friends Fund participation challenges (listed below). Committing financial resources above and beyond their existing donations, each family has crafted and sponsored a challenge for their grade that, we hope, will inspire you to underwrite excellence by making your donation to the Brooklyn Friends Fund.
Please join us in delivering on these challenges for BFS.
