Game Highlights for Week of November 24th, 2014

On Monday the BFS Boys JV Basketball Team defeated FASY 50-30 on the road. The Panthers looked sharp to start the game. Taking a 14 to 2 lead in the first 5 minutes of play. Once again the Panthers lock down defense was the shining star of the game creating 16 turnovers which lead to 25 fastbreak points. This is the Panthers third straight game forcing 15+ turnovers. Miles B. led the Panthers in scoring with 24 points.  Way to go team.  Blue Pride!!

The BFS Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated FASNY 51-41 in the lower gym. The team improved to 3-0 on the season (2-0 in ISAL league play). The Panthers started the game with a 23-7 run but the FASNY made a come back as they tied the game 37-37 going into the 4th quarter. The Panthers made a run in the 4th quarter, going14-4. Junior Quran D., had a double-double as he scored 20 points and had 10 steals. Sophomore Charlie S., scored 9 points and senior Adam W., scored 8 points (all in the 4th quarter), had 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Junior Chris B., added 7 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and had 3 steals. Sophomore Phil C., scored 5 points and had a steal. Blue Pride!!
