PAT College Fair for Students & Parents on March 9
We are thrilled to announce an exciting and new community-based event that will broaden the college horizon for our 7th to 11th-grade students and parents. While college counseling does not officially commence until December of 11th grade, it’s not too soon to start building your college knowledge. And, who better to learn from about colleges than the people who went to them?
Find out from BFS parents about their college experiences and how they paved the way to their current careers at the first PAT College Fair. The event will open with a few words from a university admissions expert, followed by plenty of small group conversations. It will be a great chance for students and their parents to explore a diverse set of institutions such as liberal arts colleges, urban universities, the Ivy League, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities. It will also provide the opportunity to hear from parents who understand the BFS experience and how it might fit with their alma mater. BFS parents will represent approximately 20 schools.
Saturday, March 9, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Upper School (116 Lawrence Street). The event is open to all 7th-11th graders and their families. RSVP is required by March 8.
