BFS
Our Strategic Vision

Join Us at Our Community Design Day

Dear BFS Community,

As many of you know, earlier this school year we embarked on a comprehensive Strategic Planning initiative—ensuring that BFS continues to grow and evolve as one of the most mission-centric and influential educational communities  in our city and our nation. Over the past several months, in partnership with our Board of Trustees, our Strategic Planning Team has been hard at work thinking about the direction of BFS. They have looked at our strategic landscape from new angles to find creative solutions and begin formulating an impactful plan for the school’s future. Put simply, they have been working and dreaming, and now, it is your time to dreamWe invite you to play an important role and join the Strategic Planning Team and our Board of Trustees for a Community Design Day. At Community Design Day, you will hear about their work so far—and be a part of the next critical step in this process! This full-day, in-person experience will harness the power of our collective imaginations and combine with the Committee’s inspired approach to shape the future of Brooklyn Friends School.

Saturday, January 21
8:30am to 3:00pm
375 Pearl Street
Please RSVP Here →

Due to the nature of its design, this is a full day, in-person experience. As a participant, it is important that you are able to attend for the duration of the Design Day. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and childcare will be available.

We know you have unique and important insights, and we sincerely hope that you’ll bring them to the table! Our session will be facilitated by Leadership+Design, an independent school strategic planning nonprofit organization that has inspired our planning thus far. Because you will be working with a team throughout the day, we ask that you commit to the full experience.

I cannot wait to spend this vibrant design thinking day with you and am looking forward to a robust showing by our community.

With excitement, and in friendship,

Crissy Cáceres
Head of School
