A Virtual Game of Catch with the Boys Varsity Baseball Team

The friendship and fitness of BFS Athletics continued at Virtual BFS! While our baseball, softball, track, and boys volleyball Panthers were disappointed not to participate in a competitive spring season, the teams still found ways to connect and move. Coach Lydia Gonzalez offered live Zoom workouts twice a week and on other days, athletes met as teams and coaches to watch sport-related videos, skills and drills videos, discuss rules and regulations, game scenarios, sports trivia, and have Q&A. The boys varsity baseball team bonded by creating a fun video for the community! Inspired by the Howard University women’s lacrosse team and our borough’s own Brooklyn Lacrosse Club, the baseball team virtually played catch! Watch their video below.
