LS Last Day of School

Last Day of School – An Invitation.  We know that many of you and your children have come to feel closely connected to your current class community. In addition to end of year events, we wanted to offer another space for community. On our last day of school, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, we invite everyone to come into the building and up to the classrooms at arrival to connect with one another and say final goodbyes to one another and to colleagues. We will still have our regular arrival routine, so children can continue to arrive independently. For anyone that would like to pop by the classroom and connect, we invite you to do so during arrival between 8:00 – 8:25 am prior to the 8:30 am start of our last day. 

Fourth Grade Moving Up, 11:00am .  Our Fourth Grade Moving Up ceremony will occur on Wednesday, June 12 beginning at 11:00 am in the Pearl Street Meetinghouse. The program will end by 12:00 pm. We will host this event in person for all of our Fourth Grade Families, as well as our Third and Fourth Grade students. We invite and encourage fourth grade families to begin arriving starting at 10:45 am so that we can begin together promptly at 11:00 am. 

Last Day of School Dismissal Times from Pearl Street:  The last day of school for our students on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 is a scheduled early dismissal. Students will follow the dismissal schedule shared below. On the last day of school, students will spend the morning partaking in classroom traditions and activities, and saying goodbye to their peers and teachers.

10:45 am: K, 1st and 2nd grade dismissal
11:00 am: 4th Grade Moving Up Ceremony
12:00 pm: 3rd and 4th grade dismissal
