Two BFS 8th Graders Hit the Airwaves

After a brief hiatus, Brooklyn Friends School’s podcast “The Life” is back—but with a really interesting twist! Completely conceptualized, filmed, and edited by two ambitious eighth graders, “The Life” podcast is now a student-run entity, with a little help from their friends (and their colleagues). 

Back in December, Theo and Kobina—two BFS eighth graders who are passionate about interviewing, public speaking, and podcasts—decided to sit down and have an on-camera conversation with Marshall, the Middle School Dean of Students. Actually, they did it as a three-camera shoot and spent the next few weeks doing editing work. They even designed their very own, original logo for the podcast. In the end, their finished product was terrific and can be viewed below. BFS is extremely proud of their initiative.
