Junior Dylan T. Accepted Into Junior Academy at New York Academy of Science

Congratulations to Dylan T. ’22 on his acceptance into the Junior Academy Programat the New York Academy of Science!

Dylan T. ’22 is one of just 1,000 high school students worldwide to be selected to this program that is a dynamic global network of like-minded peers and mentors. Students work together on Launchpad, the Academy’s unique, online platform. Launchpad enables students and STEM professionals to collaborate virtually as they compete in project-based challenges focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to competing in global challenges, students develop STEM and research experience while advancing vital 21st-century skills such as leadership, communication, and collaboration.

Of his selection, Dylan wrote: “I am so excited to be a part of The Junior Academy! I want to thank Brooklyn Friends School for providing me with an amazing education that sparked my curiosity in STEM. I also want to thank my teachers at Friends for supporting me along my academic journey and for being the most helpful and fun people I know.”

We are so proud of you, Dylan!
