Game Highlights for Week of November 25th, 2013

The BFS Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated MMFS 49-42 in the lower gym. The Panthers were led by senior Nathan J., with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 steals. Supporting him were junior Adam W. with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and senior Adam G., with 7 points and 5 rebounds. Brendan G., and Phil C., who are both freshmen helped the Panthers get out to a quick start during the game, they had 4 points and 5 points respectfully. The Panthers are off to an impressive 4-1 start this season. They are looking forward to their next game.
The BFS Boys JV Basketball Team defeated MMFS 43-35 in the lower gym. The team came out determined to pick up their first victory of the season. The home crowd was great. Even though BFS started slow as MMFS took an early six point lead, freshman Charlie S. and sophomore Tyler V. started running the fast break for BFS and the team took the lead and never looked back. The team played pesky defense which created opportunities on the other end for the Panthers. Charlie netted a game high 34 points. It was an impressive performance by the freshman point guard. The team can’t wait to take the court again next week. Blue Pride!!
