Our Early Childhood Lower School Learning Community

As of September, 2025, Brooklyn Friends School has combined its Early Childhood and Lower School Learning Communities, creating a seamless experience for our youngest learners. This new, robust Learning Community will be proudly stewarded by Kristin Brady, who wrote the following to the community in the 2025–2026 Back to School Manual. 

It is with great excitement and purpose that I draft this letter, which serves as the inaugural welcome to the newly combined Early Childhood and Lower School Learning Community at Brooklyn Friends School. Our appropriately acronymed “ECLS” will serve as the educational foundation for your family, whether your child is arriving at BFS as a 2-year old—ready to explore the world, or as a 4th grader—readying to become a middle schooler.
