Brooklyn Friends School proudly welcomed over 200 alumni, faculty, colleagues, and friends back to campus for Reunion 2025, held on May 16 and 17. This special two-day event celebrated milestone alumni classes ending in 0 and 5, filling the BFS Pearl Street and Lawrence Street campuses with joy, connection, and community spirit.

Celebrating Beloved Teacher Vlad Malukoff’s Retirement
Longtime teacher Vlad Malukoff was honored for his extraordinary service and dedication, as generations of BFS alumni gathered to celebrate his lasting impact on the community.

The weekend included fun for the whole family, with face painting, rooftop playtime, and live music from BFS’s own Tony Soll, creating a festive atmosphere for alumni children and families.
Experiencing Today’s Brooklyn Friends School
Guests participated in class visits, student-led panels, and guided campus tours, providing a firsthand look at the innovative academic programs and vibrant student life that define BFS today.
A Reflective Meeting for Grieving
In keeping with the school’s Quaker values, a meaningful Meeting for Grieving offered alumni and faculty a space to honor and remember beloved alumni and colleagues who have passed.
Rooftop Evening Celebration
The reunion weekend concluded with a rooftop cocktail reception featuring delicious bites and live jazz performed by current Brooklyn Friends School student musicians—offering stunning city views and joyful community spirit.
