Camp Brooklyn Campers Have Terrific First Session
Session 1 at Camp Brooklyn is in the books for campers—with two more exciting summer sessions to come. Camp Brooklyn, a dynamic summer experience at Brooklyn Friends School, will hold Session 2 from July 8–19 and Session 3 from July 22–August 2. Find out more here!
One thing was extremely obvious when evaluating the first two weeks of camp—there were a whole lot of smiles. Session 1 was filled with exciting events, such as magic shows, dance classes, and music experiences, daily camp activities, rooftop sprinkler fun, and field trips.
Just to name some of the trips, our campers visited the Promenade and a nearby playground, went on a scavenger hunt in Metro Tech Park , visited the Wyckoff House Museum, and even ventured outside of the borough and headed to the Queens County Farm Museum! The 47-acre farm occupies the New York City’s largest remaining area of undisturbed farmland, and is still a working farm. Camp Brooklyn had the opportunity to learn all about the farm, take a hay ride, pet the animals, and much more!
There is still time to register for this summer. Why Camp Brooklyn is a good fit for your family, you might be asking?
