All students across grade levels are welcome to join with their families. During the event, we will “visit” a farm to grab some cheese, fruits, and veggies, and make “snacks” using those ingredients. GIANT Team will show us cool origami and craft techniques to make lots of different snacks using arts and crafts materials we have at home! We’ll then share food from our stalls with everyone at the fair!

Join us for an out of this world read aloud and drawing activity with BFS parent and author Maggie Pouncey and illustrator Larry Day as they share their new picture book, A Fort on the Moon. In this book, Dodge and his big brother Fox prepare for their fifth journey to the moon in the spaceship they made with odds and ends around the house, The White Dolphin, and this time they are building a fort for all brave space explorers to use. Come see how the mission turns out, and design and draw your own spacecraft with found objects around your house. Bring your wildest imagination, paper and pencils for this virtual book event!
