STEM Offerings Abound at BFS: Spotlight on the Upper School

Whether it’s advanced programming in the Upper School, 3D Printing in the Middle School, or iPads in the Lower School, STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) abounds at BFS!
Spotlight on the Upper School
Upper School Technology Class offerings include:
– 9th grade Introduction to Programming and Digital Design class
– 10th grade advanced programming elective
– Willoughby After 3 programming studio
In addition, many classes are integrating high-level Technology elements such as 3D printers into their classes. For example, the IB Physics class will be exploring the physics of wind turbines through 3D design and modeling next semester.
