Save-the-Date: Paul Fleischman is coming to BFS

Next week, award-winning author Paul Fleischman will cap off his tour of Climate Week NYC events with a visit to middle and upper school students at BFS on Wednesday, September 24th.
Paul will be meeting with US students to discuss his new book Eyes Wide Open (publication date: September 23rd) which “offers teens an environmental wake-up call and tool kit to for decoding the barrage of conflicting information confronting them”.
He will also meet with MS students to discuss his beloved book Seedfolks which tells one amazing story about a garden that transforms a neighborhood in thirteen very different voices. You can listen to NPR’s Backseat Book Club discuss the book here!
All members of the BFS community are invited to order signed, discounted copies of the above books through the library department.
Please note: As part of the English curriculum, all 7th grade students will receive personal copies of Seedfolks.
