Pride at Brooklyn Friends

June is PRIDE month! The Brooklyn Friends School community stands together in the light, power and solidarity of the continued LGBTQIA+ struggle, legacy of resilience, and fight for equal rights. As a community we align ourselves with the lived responsibility of belonging and justice. Starting with the Stonewall Uprising in June, 1969, Pride Month commemorates and celebrates LGBTQIA+ activism and culture uplifting voices, celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture, and the support of LGBTQIA+ community.

March with BFS at Brooklyn PRIDE 
Saturday, June 11, Meet at 6:00pm sharp
DeGraw and 5th Avenue (corner of Park Chemists Pharmacy)
(How to get there: N, R, W Union Street; 2, 3, 4 to Bergen Street)

Youth Pride BK Celebration Sunday
Sunday, June 12, 12-5pm
Brooklyn Pride is hosting the 1st Youth Pride-BK for Ages 13-20. This is an affinity event for LGBTQIA+ and Ally Youth to have a space exclusively for them. Sign up for this event here. Learn more about BkPride.
