Call to Action from Community Partners!

Throughout the week of May 11, 2020, Brooklyn Friends 7th-11th graders experienced a series of powerful presentations with community partners organized by the Office of Service Learning & Civic Engagement. May 11-May 15, 2020: 7th Grade Criminal Justice Week (video recordings)

CALL TO ACTION: Support the JustLeadershipUSA #buildCOMMUNITIES platform
  • JOIN OUR SOCIAL MEDIA Photo campaign (happening the first week of June, collecting commitments and photos now).
  • KEEP MAKING CALLS/SENDING EMAILS to elected officials, to get the budget our communities need. Check out the JLUSA action page with call scripts and draft messages.
  • SEND BUDGET TESTIMONY to elected officials. Read our guide here.
