Tax Information

Brooklyn Friends School is a 501c3 organization and donations are fully tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes in the mail from the Advancement Office.

Yes! As a 501c3 organization, Brooklyn Friends School is eligible to receive matching gifts. Double or even triple your gift to the Brooklyn Friends Fund by requesting a matching gift from your employer. Contact your human resources office to find out if your company offers matching gifts.

A Brooklyn Friends Fund gift is unrestricted support that provides money for the current budget and has an immediate impact on the day-to-day vibrancy of the school. It helps to fund everything from competitive faculty salaries and financial aid to books and computers, athletic programs and curriculum enhancements.

A key factor in the success of the Brooklyn Friends Fund is that every family gives at a level that is meaningful to them. Donations range from $1 to $100,000. All gifts, regardless of size, have an impact on the school and are greatly appreciated.

Supporting the Brooklyn Friends Fund is a vote of confidence in the school.
