IB Art Show Evokes New Whitney Museum Opening

A new building. A different location. Creative visual artists whose work is inspiring, provocative, imaginative and proficient. The BFS International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Show this month recalls, in some ways, last year’s heralded opening of the new Whitney Museum. Please come to celebrate the visual arts at BFS by attending this special community exhibition.
The personal portfolios of 27 seniors, in a wide range of media, will be on view throughout the Upper School building at 116 Lawrence Street from April 4 through April 28. All families are encouraged to view the show and join the student-artists and their teachers at a reception on Friday April 8, from 5pm to 7pm at Lawrence Street. (Note: As with any art exhibition, there may be some work that parents find unsuitable for their young children.)
